TXI's Clodine Facility: One Year With No Lost Time Accidents

DALLAS, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Clodine Expanded Clay, a TXI (NYSE: TXI) facility announces one year with no lost time accidents. Clodine reached this milestone on April 10, 2001 and celebrated with an employee appreciation breakfast on April 12, 2001. Previously, the plant had eight years with no lost time accidents.

The Clodine facility has 40 employees and produces a lightweight aggregate used in the construction industry. The plant operates approximately 95,000 man-hours per year.
